3:05PM... Finally woke up. Theresa isn't home, and I think Thomas tried to wake me up about 10 minutes ago. *shrugs* Oh well.

Went to bed around 7:30AM to catch the ending credits to the movie Stardust (which had played at least 4 times since I started playing games last night), to which I realized that I really enjoy the first song that starts playing when the credits roll, which is "Rule the World" by Take That. The lyrics are catchy and it has a nice beat:

You light the skies up above me
A star so bright you blind me, yeah, yeah
Don't close your eyes
Don't fade away, don't fade away, oh

Yeah, you and me we can ride on a star
If you stay with me, girl, we can rule the world
Yeah, you and me we can light up the sky
If you stay by my side, we can rule the world

If walls break down, I will comfort you
If angels cry, oh, I'll be there for you
You've saved my soul
Don't leave me down, don't leave me now, oh

Yeah, you and me we can ride on a star
If you stay with me, girl, we can rule the world
Yeah, you and me we can light up the sky
If you stay by my side, we can rule the world

All the stars are coming out tonight
They're lighting up the sky tonight for you, for you
All the stars are coming out tonight
They're lighting up the sky tonight for you, for you, oh

Yeah, you and me we can ride on a star
If you stay with me, girl, we can rule the world
Yeah, you and me we can light up the sky
If you stay by my side, we can rule the world

All the stars are coming out tonight
They're lighting up the sky tonight for you, for you
All the stars are coming out tonight
They're lighting up the sky tonight for you, for you

All the stars are coming out tonight
They're lighting up the sky tonight for you, for you
All the stars are coming out tonight
They're lighting up the sky tonight for you, for you

It has a lot of emotion and feeling to it, which is, in my opinion, rare in music today, at least mainstream music.
6:15AM... Still playing HoMM 3. Its funny, the map we've been playing on (for ages it seems) looks like the North America, and even has towns and areas that are named after provinces, states, and cities, even.

Heroes of Might and Magic is a Turn-based Strategy game. Its rather fun and simply addicting to be honest. You own a town, which has an alignment of sorts which determines what type of unit and hero you will produce. Your units are your nitty-gritty fighters while your hero just kinda stands in the back and provides nifty bonuses and spells to the units under its command. Depending on your current hero's army strength, or overall power of the units under that hero's command, enemy monsters that guard precious resources will scatter just at the sight of your hero, or even, in awe, ask to join your cause, whatever it may be ;D.

It could be a faster paced game, to be honest, but all-in-all, it's pretty damn fun.

I'm starting to really hate my insomnia. Vaguely remember Theresa waking me up around 12PM (or 3PM, too hazy to remember) letting me know that she was going to Alana's to help her move today, and passed out immediately after.

Woke up around 3:30PM, hopped online (ultra-groggy I might add) and then started to play HoMM 3 with Thomas. Played until around 8PM or so, saved it and took a break, my eyes were starting to kill me. After eating some soup, I hopped on Mass Effect to finish up those achievements that I neglected so long ago... 2 hours and several campaign restarts later, I finally manage to get my character looking the way I want it (pale white with black hair and blue eyes... doesn't seem difficult, but with me I can make anything difficult :D) and set the difficulty on Hardcore, just to find out that Thomas wants to play Heroes 3 again.

So much for all that campaign effort on Mass Effect...

xD
